Review by hotel critic
Review of Shukubo Komadori-SansoDuring our recent family vacation at Shukubo Komadori-Sanso, we found the experience to be thoroughly enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Akemi, whose hospitality set the tone for our stay. The accommodation was comfortable, featuring cozy futons that even my young child found inviting. One highlight of our visit was the delicious homemade meals. Akemi offered a vegetarian option, which catered to our family's diverse palate. Enjoying meals as a family in the beautifully set dining area was a memorable experience. The view from our room was stunning, providing a serene backdrop for our relaxation time. The surrounding area of the hotel offered several hiking trails, which we eagerly explored together. It was wonderful to connect with nature and share those moments as a family. This was further enhanced by the knowledge Akemi shared about the local culture and environment. Although we found the location a bit tricky to navigate initially, the staff was very accommodating, even assisting us when we got lost. Shukubo Komadori-Sanso provided a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, making it a great choice for families seeking a unique getaway in Japan.
